Welcome to Saint Francis of Assisi! We are an Anglican Church in Willow Park, Texas, and we seek to “worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (Psalm 96:9).

The congregation of St. Francis was established in 1982, and our building was constructed, in large part by St. Francis parishioners, in 1985. So much of what you see here—from the artwork to the altar, and even the pews—is the handiwork of our own people. Following the pattern of our patron, St. Francis of Assisi, we strive to dedicate our whole selves, body and soul, to our Lord Jesus Christ.

St. Francis of Assisi is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth under the leadership of the Rt. Rev. Ryan S. Reed. The Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth is a founding diocese of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).

In August 1994, the Vestry of St. Francis formally adopted the following Statement of Faith and Purpose:

We, the parish of Saint Francis of Assisi, accept Jesus Christ as the Lord
and Savior and the responsibility for making Him known.

As a parish, accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior, we believe:

The Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the Word of God;

The truths of the Nicene Creed express our beliefs;

The traditional teachings of the Faith as instituted by the Apostles.

As a parish, accepting the responsibilities for making Him known, we will:

Live, profess and share our beliefs in our families, communities and beyond;

Provide the facilities for and support of traditional worship and Christian education;

Participate in and promote Biblical stewardship and evangelism.
